Multi-disciplinary Artist | Creative

As a disabled and chronically ill artist, I face many barriers in life but when I create, there are no boundaries and I am free to express and explore. This is why my practice is an intrinsic part of me, because it allows me to communicate, connect and share parts of myself with others. I create as a form of self-expression and to convey the power of sharing lived experiences and memories to tell stories. To ultimately create a connection with those who interact with my work.

My approach to my work is intuitive and inspired by a felt sense of the moment. Whether that be influenced by memories, lived experiences, feelings and emotions, or by the themes that I am currently exploring. Each piece tells a story, with the intention of taking you on a journey. A journey where your senses enliven and your emotions begin to stir; forging a connection.

My work is largely informed by experiences of both joy and pain. Working with a mix of mediums allows me the freedom to transmute my experiences, through unique mark-making, textures and compelling colour stories.
